Hours of work: 40 per week
Salary : Step 1: $44.94/hour Step 2*: $47.77/hour
*After the 90-day work probation period
Your role
The Electrician - Control Systems and Powerline is responsible to perform installation, repair, maintenance and inspection on a variety of electrical systems and equipment, to ensure disruptions to navigation and structure operations are minimized and ensure the reliability of the Seaway system.

Your responsibilities
- Install, repair, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot a variety of electrical systems and equipment such as Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, motors, breakers, cables, transformers, generators and circuits.
- Perform installation, repair and maintenance on the distribution of power lines, submarine and underground cables and sub-station equipment.
- Perform work in accordance with applicable Electrical codes and/or Engineering/Technical specifications.
- Maintain electrical equipment, according to the preventive maintenance program.
- Respond efficiently and effectively to electrical service calls.
Your profile
- Diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in electricity
- Provincial certification of qualification as a licensed Industrial Electrician (licence C) in Quebec
- Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience in an industrial environment maintaining controls and electrical equipment
- Valid Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record
