Location: Brossard,QC
Assignment : Permanent

Hours of work: 37.5 per week

Salary: Step 1: $43.21/hour  Step 2*: $45.93/hour 

*After the 90-day work probation period

Your responsabilities

  • Create, maintain and verify drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology, ensuring quality of content and conformance with standards and regulations;
  • Produce detailed designs for structures, systems & equipment, including performing calculations, material specifications, and design briefs.
  • Inspect and oversee mechanical construction work to ensure technical compliance, conformance with contracts, specifications, adjustments, regulations and site & equipment safety.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external services, including contractors.

 

Your profile 

  • College Diploma (D.E.C.) in mechanical engineering technology or a related field

  • Six (6) years of experience in the areas of computer-aided drawing design and inspection of mechanical construction work.

  • Experience and knowledge in CAD Technology (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Good knowledge of drafting techniques, design, inspection and construction of frames/structures.

  • Eligibility for Security Clearance Ability to communicate in French and English

  • Eligibility for certification from the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec.

  • Hold a certificate for the General Health and Safety on Construction Sites course awarded by ASP construction (asset)
