Location: Brossard, QC
Assignment : Permanent

Hours of work:  37.5 hours per week

Annual salary: $119,600 - $133,800 per year

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections, assessments, feasibility studies, and various analyses.
  • Conduct and/or oversee the completion of designs, specifications and drawings for all assigned work, in accordance with Engineering principles, codes, standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all technical engineering deliverables/tasks to achieve project .
  • Ensure the final commissioning and start up of all new works.
  • Provide expert assistance in Mechanical Engineering, and participate in the medium and long term planning of infrastructure maintenance.
  • Prepare budgets and manage expenditures within approved limits.
  • Provide support to the operations safety programs and initiatives as required.

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the design, inspection, evaluation, maintenance and rehabilitation of structures and equipment, preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and project management.
  • Eligibility for security clearance during background check.
  • Availability to complete the medical test to meet physical requirements 
  • Ability to communicate in French and English 
  • Ease of working at height, at depth, near open water and/or in confined spaces 
  • Proficiency in applicable computer applications, tools and related office software (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.)
  • Valid Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record
