Location: Brossard (Quebec)
Assignment : Permanent
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Salary : Step 1 : $40.51 Step 2* : $43.21
*After the 90 worked days probation period
Your role

Your responsibilities
- Carry out the surveillance of mechanical work according to plans and specifications and applicable regulations.
- Write daily reports summarizing the work carried out by contractors.
- Communicate with contract managers to ensure compliance of the work.
- Act as the technical reference during the implementation of civil engineering works.
- Archive supporting documents (e.g. photos, daily reports, etc.) in the applicable computer system.
- Provide technical assistance and surveillance as needed for other departments.
Your profile
- College Diploma (DEC) in a related field.
- At least five (5) years of relevant technical experience
- Eligible for certification with l'Ordre des technologues professionnelles du Québec
- Knowledge of the quality assurance and quality control methods and procedures for mechanical work.
- Availability to complete medical tests to meet physical requirements.
- Valid Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to communicate in French and English
- Ability to work at height, near open water and/or in confined spaces.
- Good knowledge of the relevant computer applications and tools and software (e.g.: Microsoft Office, SAP etc.).
- Eligibility for level R2 security clearance during background check under the Marine Transportation Security Regulations (MTSR).
