Hours of work: 37.5 per week
Salary range: $92 781 to $ 103 135

 

This position may be based at any of our offices (Cornwall (ON), St-Catharines (ON) or St -Lambert (QC)).

The operations analyst team members serve an English-speaking and French-speaking clientele.  This position is designated bilingual.

Your responsibilities

  • Carry out studies in the structure and traffic control activities field.  
  • Identify users’ requirements with respect to the new operational systems and tests.
  • Provide support for the new systems, develop training materials, and analyze performance.  
  • Assess, finetune and implement operating methods and techniques.
  • Plan and carry out internal ISO verifications.
  • Prepare and publish various reports during key shipping periods.  
  • Provide primary support for the user and traffic management system to ensure the integrity of the data. 
  • Liaise with the Corporation’s various departments, as well as with the employees of external organizations.

Your profile

  • University degree in applied science or in a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position in the marine transportation field or in the manufacturing sector.
  • Advanced skills in analyzing operations, making recommendations, and supporting users.
  • Experience in data manipulation for preparing various reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of change management concepts and applications.
  • Fluent in French and English, verbal and written, in order to communicate with colleagues, customers and suppliers located in Quebec and Ontario.
  • Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record
