Salary: $107 620 to $119 574

Your responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision of team members in achieving the department's mandate, its workload and its objectives related to the function.
- Supervise the coordination and execution of work performed by the team (provide expertise and technical support to other departments, such as the Engineering and Asset Management group).
- Manage daily performance, including implementation of safety practices, employee attendance, and work standards and methods based on policies and procedures.
- Coordinate resources in assigning civil, mechanical, and electrical maintenance work and ensure compliance.
- Participate in budget preparation and ensure the correct expenses are planned, including monitoring and recording cost overruns such as overtime, expenses, equipment, etc.
Your profile
- College Diploma in a related technical field.
- At least five (5) years of relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance activities (Mechanical, civil and Electrical).
- Experience in service contract management (quotation, call for tenders, etc.).
- Eligibility for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.
- Knowledge of applicable IT applications and tools as well as related office software (MS Office, SAP, etc.).
- Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Eligibility for Marine Transportation Security Clearance.
- Availability to undergo medical test and functional abilities evaluation.
