Salary: 118,170$ - 131,294$

Your responsibilities
- Develop, implement and support the stakeholder engagement and mobilization strategy and practices and administer the government and community relations processes.
- Prepare high-quality documentation for presentations and briefings intended for external audiences and upper-level internal stakeholders.
- Supervise and develop the SLSMC’s initiatives and binational initiatives with our U.S. partner.
- Act as resource person to answer requests for information from communities and coordinate activities for promoting engagement and dialogue between the SLSMC and its external partners.
- Create and use a tool for assessing performance and reporting on the SLSMC stakeholder engagement and mobilization strategy.
- Conduct opinion surveys of external stakeholders. Support community relations actions in crisis situations.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or political science.
- At least eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work closely with colleagues on the communications team and with management.
- Solid networking experience to obtain results.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to deal with sensitive situations and different audiences.
- Ability to adapt to new challenges and short timeframes.
- Ability to communicate in French and in English verbally and in writing. This requirement is explained by the nature of the position which involves communicating with stakeholders in Canada and possibly the United States.
